According to the Ministry of Economy of Dagestan, economic growth in the region will be achieved through state support, financing of existing sectors and enterprises as well as the launch of several new ones.

For instance, in 2025 it is planned to establish a factory for the production of top (thoroughly cleaned and combed wool), knitwear and a full-cycle meat-processing plant. Additionally, a new facility for the production of knitted goods will also be put into operation.

The Republic of Dagestan has demonstrated remarkable growth rates in industrial production, leading among the regions of Russia. In the first eight months of this year, industrial production grew by 116.7%, with the key contributor being the manufacturing sector, including rubber, plastic goods, furniture and footwear.
