The implementation of 32 large-scale investment initiatives in Dagestan is projected to generate approximately 5 thousand new positions and generate annual tax revenue amounting to roughly RUB 2 billion. These projects, totaling approximately RUB 35 billion rubles in private investment, are slated for implementation in 13 municipal districts and urban areas of the republic, spanning various sectors such as manufacturing, agriculture, tourism and services.

The projects aimed at establishing manufacturing, hospitality, catering and agricultural enterprises are among the top priorities. Nonetheless, according to the officials’ statements, not all investors demonstrate commitment to fulfilling their obligations in a responsible manner, resulting in delays in some project implementations.

In response, the regional government intends to enhance monitoring efforts and terminate lease agreements for land with investors who fail to adhere to the terms of their contracts.
