In order to preserve, develop and support traditional crafts, the Ministry of Tourism of Dagestan together with administration of the city of Makhachkala will organize festive events on the occasion of the Day of Folk Arts and Crafts on June 23.

The festivities will take place in the Alley of the Masters in I. Shamil Avenue. As part of the event, an exhibition fair will be held, where Kubachi silverware, artistically designed weapons, Untsukul wooden art products with ornamental carvings, Balkhar ceramics and much more will be presented.

Folklore groups will perform for the guests, master classes on making traditional products will be held, and an animation program for children will be presented.
