The number of foreigners employed in the construction industry in Dagestan will be reduced by 30% by 2025, the press service of the Russian Labor Ministry informs. In total, the acceptable share of foreign workers across Russia will be reduced in 11 regions for the same period. The draft decision on this reduction has been developed by the Ministry, taking into account the proposals from the regions.

This will affect various areas of employment. In the Republic of Dagestan, the restriction on the employment of foreign workers in the construction industry has been introduced at the request of the regional authorities, up to 30%. In other regions, this restriction is set at 80% level.
