The Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has issued an Order to allocate 1.2 billion rubles from the reserve fund to the Ministry of Energy of Russia in 2023 to provide subsidies to Rosseti Northern Caucasus. The subsidy is provided for reimbursement of costs associated with the implementation of maintenance of distribution grids of the Republic of Dagestan, as well as staffing the emergency stock of equipment and materials, the document says.
The measure includes "reduction of the number of accidents on power lines and equipment or devices with a nominal voltage of 110 kV, on which restoration measures were carried out, as well as reduction of the total number of accidents on power lines and equipment or devices with a nominal voltage of 6-35 kV, on which restoration works were carried out", - the document runs.
It is expected that all this will help to reduce the average duration of power transmission interruption at regional facilities with rated voltage up to 35 kV.
The Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation will monitor the targeted and efficient use of budget allocations. The report on the work done should be submitted to the government by February 1, 2024.
