The State Property Management Ministry of Dagestan has identified land plots for the reconstruction of Makhachkala Airport. As to Aleftin Abdullayev, head of the land relations department at the ministry, the land is in municipal and republican ownership.

In this regard, the Ministry has entered into land lease agreements with the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "State Corporation for Air Traffic Organization in the Russian Federation."  It should be noted that Makhachkala Airport is an international harbor with dual use. In light of this, special attention will be paid to the advantages of Dagestan in implementation of this project, Abdullayev says.
