The educational centers "Growth Point", where children can thoroughly study robotics, chemistry, physics and biology, will be opened this year on the basis of 46 secondary schools in Dagestan thanks to the national project "Education".
"Schools will be provided with modern equipment. The creation of such centers will give children from remote districts of the republic an opportunity to compete with their peers from the cities in various Olympiads and competitions, as well as to enter universities" the local officials say.
It is planned to open the centers in small towns and villages of the republic on September 1. They will be equipped with digital laboratories, microscopes and designers. Apart from mastering knowledge and skills, work in new conditions will allow children to improve communication skills, creativity, strategic and spatial thinking, as well as psychological stability in stressful situations.
Noteworthy, currently 618 similar centers successfully operate in Russia involving more than 190 thousand of individuals.
