The republican authorities continue to enhance the convenience and accessibility of transportation, which in turn contributes to the increase in the region's attractiveness for tourists.

In 2024, a total of 122 additional tourist signs were installed in Dagestan, bringing the number of such signs to 68 across 31 municipal districts. In 2023, there were 486 such signs in 28 municipal districts, indicating a significant expansion of the tourist navigation system throughout the year, encompassing more municipal districts and tourist routes.

These new signposts serve as invaluable tools for tourists, facilitating their navigation and helping them locate landmarks, natural features and significant points of interest. The signs cover popular routes, historical sites and recreational areas, thereby increasing the overall convenience and attractiveness of travelling in Dagestan.
