At the invitation of Sergey Dubovik, Director of Melitopol State University Coordination Centre, Magomed Magomedov, Head of the Dagestan State University Coordination Centre and Shevket Krumov, an employee of the Youth Affairs Ministry of the Republic of Dagestan, visited Melitopol (Zaporizhzhia Oblast) with a working trip. During their visit, Dagestanis shared expertise in the field of countering terrorism and extremism with specialists responsible for organizing preventive measures in the region.

As to the press service of the Ministry, working meetings and seminars were held with the rector of Melitopol State University, employees of Melitopol municipal administration, the regional Ant-Terrorist Commission and the representatives of the governor's office of Zaporozhye region.

During the workshops, Dagestani specialists presented successful regional practices in preventing extremism and terrorist ideology among young people, shared their experience in individual prevention of at-risk youth and projects to preserve historical memory, using the Kavkaz Search Team as an example.
