Depreciation of municipal infrastructure facilities in Dagestan remains high, averaging 70%, the deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of Dagestan Salam Gasainiev says. At the same time, as to the official, 36% of the fixed assets of the housing and utilities sector have fully served the normative terms and are subject to urgent replacement.

To solve this problem, Dagestan plans to spend 34 billion RUB till 2027. Of the total amount, 32 billion RUB will come from the federal budget. For example, new water supply systems are under construction in Yuzhno-Sukhokumsk, Derbent and Kazbekovsky municipal district. The sewage collection system in Makhachkala will be completely rebuilt.
