Employees of the regional branch of Hydroremont-VKK JSC have begun the overhaul of turbine number 1 at the Irganayskaya hydroelectric power plant in Dagestan. This is the first time in the 26-year history of the plant that the work will involve excavating the rotor of a hydrogenerator. After the overhaul, the hydroelectric unit will undergo load tests, including load shedding, to ensure that its operating parameters meet the standards set by the manufacturer and regulatory and technical documents.
