A boxer from the Republic of Dagestan will compete for the International Boxing Association (IBA) belt in Dubai. This will be the eight fight in the professional career of the Russian athlete. On December 6th, boxer Sharabutdin Atayev from Dagestan will face Cuban opponent Arlen Lopez in the ring.

Both boxers will be competing for the IBA world title in the super-middleweight division. Lopez currently holds the belt and is also the winner of Olympic gold medal. It is worth noting that the 25-year-old heavyweight from Dagestan achieved 7 victories in 7 professional fights. Atayev is also a champion in European and world boxing competitions.
