Undefeated Russian MMA fighter Usman Nurmagomedov will return to the cage on February 7 in Dubai, where he will face British challenger Alfie Davis. The bout will headline the PFL "Road to Dubai" tournament, as confirmed by the organizers.
The PFL lightweight championship belt, currently held by Nurmagomedov, will be at stake. This will mark the Dagestani fighter's fifth title defense. In his most recent bout in October, he decisively outclassed Ireland's Paul Hughes.
His opponent, Alfie Davis, is in excellent form, having won the league's Grand Prix this year. The fighters' records speak for themselves: the 27-year-old Nurmagomedov boasts 20 wins with no losses, while the 33-year-old Davis holds a record of 20 wins and 5 losses.
