MAKHACHKALA, March 12 – RIA "Dagestan". A meeting of the board of trustees of FC Dynamo, chaired by Head of the Republic of Dagestan Sergei Melikov, reviewed youth football development results for 2025 and outlined priorities for 2026.
In 2025, four full-size football fields were opened in Makhachkala, Khasavyurt, Suleyman-Stalsky district and at the Dynamo training base. The School Football League engaged approximately 323,000 children during the reporting period, while five "smart" mini-football pitches were commissioned. Franchises of Moscow's Dynamo were established in the republic, bringing together over 600 young players. Additionally, the Dynamo youth team secured promotion to Division "A" of the Second League.
Development plans for 2026 include the construction of 12 mini-football fields across various districts, the opening of Moscow Dynamo football schools in Kizlyar, Kizilyurt and Dagestanskiye Ogni, and the reconstruction of the stadium in the village of Ansalta. The flagship initiative is the establishment of a Regional Football Center in Zelenomorsk. The first phase of the project—comprising four full-size artificial turf fields—is scheduled for completion this year.
The facility is intended to serve as a primary training base for professional footballers in the region. The meeting also addressed coach and referee development programs, as well as initiatives for engagement with Dynamo supporters.
