The growth of retail trade in Dagestan by the end of 2023 may reach 3.6%, the head of the regional Ministry of Industry and Trade Nizam Khalilov says. As to the top official, in 2023 the total turnover may reach 800 billion rubles, while at the end of 2022, the retail trade volumes amounted to 772.1 billion rubles.

"In 2024, we also expect this value to grow at the level of 5.4%," Khalilov noted. Dagestan authorities specify that new forms of trade are actively developing in the republic, including through cooperation with federal retail companies.
