The republic of Dagestan has exported 700 tons of potatoes to foreign countries for the first time, the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Food reports. In particular, the first batch of potatoes weighing 727 tons was exported to Azerbaijan.

As to the ministry official, the main supplies of Dagestan agricultural products go to the countries of Transcaucasia, Central and West Asia and the Middle East.

"For 9 months of 2023, 182 tons of mutton, 156 thousand heads of small and cattle about 500 tons of intestinal raw materials and about 1.4 thousand tons of fish were exported," the ministry specifies.
