Daghestan ministry of industry discuss "Daghestan Certification Mark" contest

Makhachkala, October 20, 2014. Daghestan ministry of industry, trade and investment met to discuss holding an annual republican "Daghestan Certification Mark" contest for producers of goods and services. The winners will be awarded their marks at the forthcoming forum for industrialists and entrepreneurs scheduled to run November 6-8 in Makhachkala.
The contest has been designed by Daghestan government and the ministry of industry to encourage local producers and help them promote their products. People buying the marked goods will know that the product is of good quality, eco-friendly and harmless for their health.
The certification mark will be valid for three years from the date is has been awarded. It will become an annual contest held in 4 categories: "Industrial production and consumer goods", "Agricultural production and food products", "Services" and "Traditional Daghestani arts and crafts". Each nomination will have 3 classes making the total ofo 12 awards.
In each category, applications are already being submitted – they’ve got 6 applications from manufacturers in the first category, 6 applications from agricultural producers (juices, meat, dairy products, and tomatoes), 10 applications from dental clinics, cosmetology centers, and foreign languages centers, and 4 application in the forth category. Applications are still being submitted.
