The investment project for the establishment of a single-stage textile fiber glass production facility in Dagestan has encountered challenges. Negotiations with the supplier of dual-use equipment have been put on hold, resulting in a postponement of the project's launch.
Nizam Khalilov, the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Dagestan, has indicated that efforts are underway to explore alternative sourcing mechanisms for acquiring the necessary equipment. The temporary halt in negotiations with the dual-use equipment supplier necessitates a search for alternative strategies to advance the project.
The primary focus now lies in identifying the most effective means to secure the required equipment, leading to a shift in the projected start date from 2025 to the first quarter of 2027.
