In order to expedite cargo handling operations, it is imperative to acquire two additional gantry cranes, with the cost of one estimated at approx. RUB 500 million. Additionally, Aliyev has highlighted the significance of implementing other innovations to improve cargo handling and transshipment. These include an inspection and examination complex where cargo will be checked using X-rays, without the need for unloading and reloading into cars.
