The press service of the North Caucasian Railways JSC reported that regional railroads transported 10.5 thousand tons of industrial consumer goods in the first three months of 2024. This is 12.3% more than in the same period of 2023.

However, the total loading on the railroads in Dagestan for the first three months of 2024 made 277 thousand tons, which is 7% less than in January-March of 2023.

According to the company, the following amounts of cargo were loaded for a period of three months: construction cargo - 180.6 thousand tons (a decrease of 22.4% compared to the same period in 2023); milling products - 41.4 thousand tons (a decrease of 5.4%); and ferrous scrap - 6.7 thousand tons (an increase of 1.8 times).
