Two productions by national theaters from Dagestan have been included in the "Golden Collection of Russian Theater Productions".

The play "Mother's Field", based on works by Chingiz Aitmatov, by the Lak Musical Drama Theater named after E.Kapiyev directed by Givi Valiyev, and Magomed Kurbonov's "Molla Nasreddin" directed by Islam Kaziyev at Kumyk Musical Theater named after A.Salavatov received high praise.

The Russian Union of Theater Workers completed the process of compiling a list of plays to be part of the treasury of Russian theater art. Professional theaters, including independent producers from all regions of Russia, participated in the selection process.

Out of the three hundred entries chosen at the preliminary stage, an expert committee selected nine productions from the North Caucasian region for inclusion on the list. These productions, which will be part of an information campaign to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Russian Theatre Union, are expected to receive extensive media attention and special awards.
