Dagestan witnesses a notable increase in investment activity, largely fueled by ambitious developmental projects focused on stimulating tourism and economic growth.
These initiatives have successfully attracted over RUB 72 billion in investments. A prominent driver of this influx is a large-scale project on the Caspian Sea coastline, which alone has secured approximately RUB 63 billion. As to the regional Minister of Tourism Emin Merdanov these agreements represent the beginning stage, with further investment anticipated in the future.
Concurrently, Dagestan implements 38 state programs designed to promote growth across a range of economic and social sectors. The Ministry of Industry and Trade highlights consistent progress and modernization within the industrial sector, citing the example of a lime plant scheduled for completion in Kaitagsky municipal district next year. This project aims to address the considerable supply deficit for lime within the construction industry.
Moreover, the agricultural sector receives substantial support through subsidies and grants administered by the Agriculture Ministry. Notably, veterans and participants from the agricultural sector are being encouraged to transition into entrepreneurial roles within the industry.
