In 2024, three large objects in the housing and utilities sector will be constructed in Dagestan. 16.2 billion rubles will be allocated for implementation of these projects. The republic will attract funds at the expense of infrastructure and budget loans.

The key object is the main water pipeline "Chirkey - Makhachkala - Kaspiysk", for which 3.5 billion rubles will be allocated. Another project is the construction of the first stage of sewage treatment facilities for Makhachkala agglomeration with a capacity of 150 thousand cubic meters per day. More than 1.080 billion rubles will be spent on design and construction of a pressure line from Makhachkala to the sewage treatment facilities in the city of Kaspiysk.

Due to the implementation of these major projects in Dagestan the problems in the sphere of housing and communal services accumulated over many years will be solved, the regional prime mnister A.Abdulmuslimov says. In 2023, Dagestan planned to complete the construction of the Chirkey-Buynaksk water pipeline, for which 1.9 billion rubles were allocated.
