Dagestan Public Health Ministry provide priority medical care for servicemen and their families
At the regular meeting chaired by the Prime Minister of Dagestan, the regional Public Health Minister of Tatyana Belyayeva delivered a report on providing priority medical care to the participants of the Special Military Operation and their families.
As to Belyaeva, the Ministry signed an agreement with the branch of the Fatherland Defenders Foundation. The Foundation provides daily counselling by psychologists from 5 medical centers in the region. The priority is given to the participants of the Special Military Operation and their families under the State Guarantee Program. Screening examinations are carried out in medical institutions providing primary health care. A phone helpline service has been organized by the Republican Psycho-therapeutic Polyclinic for medical and psychological counseling.
Besides, the SMO participants can receive medical rehabilitation at the Republican Clinical Hospital. For this purpose, rehabilitation assistance has been organized in two profiles: "Neurorehabilitation" and "Rehabilitation of patients with diseases of the peripheral nervous system and the musculoskeletal system".
It is also reported that in total 232 SMO participants were rehabilitated in 2023 in various structural subdivisions of the Ministry.
