Since 2025, Russia has implemented an expedited procedure for real estate registration. According to Marat Abakarov, the Deputy Head of Dagestan branch of Rosreestr (The Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography), individuals and legal entities are now able to register mortgages and ownership rights to apartments within a single working day following submission of their application, with the exception of cases involving sales at public auctions.

This service is accessible both through the MFCs (multi-functional centers) and online through the Rosreestr website. To avail of this service, it is necessary to select the appropriate option in the registration form. In accordance with Russian tax legislation, a higher fee is imposed for this expedited process. However, the standard registration timeframes (seven working days or nine days for applications submitted through the MFCs) remain in place.
