The day before, the Head of the Export Support Center of the Republic of Dagestan Ruslan Abaskuliev, gave a press conference to answer the question of the regional media. As to the top official the export volumes in the republic in January-September 2023 increased by almost 40%.  In 2023, Dagestan again renewed the historical record of export volumes, previously set in 2022.

Speaking about the results of activities, Abaskuliev noted about several business missions of the Export Support Center, including reverse ones, organized this year. In Abaskuliev’s view, the trips to Oman and Saudi Arabia allowed to reach prospective agreements concerning the export of Dagestani goods. Besides, the business delegations from Uzbekistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Iran arrived in Dagestan to establish contacts with the republican partners.

Abaskuliev also concerned about the introduction of Dagestani goods abroad. As to the head of the Export Support Center it was preceded by a huge work on the analysis of market, consumption and logistics methods. Abaskuliev listed the products of agro-industrial complex - meat, fish, some types of vegetables, as well as canned products, including juices and confectionery among the goods most demanded by foreign importers.
