Dagestan continues to grapple with a critical shortage of skilled professionals in the agricultural and industrial sectors. However, there is hope for improvement through a federal initiative.

By 2025, Dagestan is projected to receive over RUB 290 million rubles aimed at addressing the critical personnel shortages in the agricultural industry. The regional government chairperson has highlighted the urgency of addressing this issue.
The challenge of addressing the agricultural workforce shortage demands special attention. Farmers in Dagestan are particularly lacking in key positions such as shepherds, dairy workers, veterinarians and highly qualified professionals in fields like agronomy, zootechnics and technology.

The project outlines a framework for the reimbursement of business expenses across several domains, specifically encompassing the establishment and administration of agricultural courses, the enhancement of the material and technological infrastructure of higher education establishments, the cultivation of specialists through targeted agreements and the development and acquisition of housing units for educators.
