From the new academic year, Dagestan school tutors will teach new classes on the basics of agriculture. The curriculum is based on the elementary course of the agrarian university.

According to the Ministry of Education and Science of the republic of Dagestan, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Dagestan together with the Dagestan State Agrarian University will open 22 agrarian classes in the regional schools in 2024.

The new specialization will be available for pupils of 10th and 11th grades. In total, about 2,500 Dagestani schoolchildren will learn their first working profession in colleges subordinate to the Ministry during the 2024 academic year.

Recall in 2023, specialized engineering, psychological and pedagogical classes were first introduced in the republican secondary schools.
