Makhachkala, April 14, 2016. The innovative educational project "Week of Robotics" has kicked off the day before in Makhachkala. Within the framework of the project, a variety of activities in robotics – the exhibitions, workshops, competitions, relay races and quests will be conducted in the secondary schools in the cities and districts of Dagestan.
The project is organized by the charity foundation "Peri" together with the Moscow Center of pedagogical skills, with the participation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Dagestan. The first experimental event under the "Week of Robotics" project will be held in Makhachkala gymnasium №13.
"The mobile laboratory and a special program introduced in the 13th school of Makhachkala have become the first practical results of the project" – the representative of the Moscow Center of pedagogical skills Dmitry Putintsev said at the press conference dedicated to the "Week of robotics".
As to Putintsev, the "Week of robotics" is a modular program and is conventionally called a week, although it may take a month depending on what will be offered to children.
The second experimental "Robotics Week" will be held in Makhachkala gymnasium №39. The project leaders are also planning to open remote training courses for those who want to learn robotics.
