Abdulrashid Sadulayev wins gold at Olympic Games in Rio

Makhachkala, August 22, 2016. Dagestani freestyle wrestler Abdulrashid Sadulayev, in the weight category up to 86 kg, won gold medal for the Russian team at the Olympic Games in Brazilian Rio.
The trainee of Makhachkala sports school named after Gamid Gamidov under the guidance of the coach Shamil Omarov was considered as the main contender for the gold in the weight category before the Olympic tournament.
Sadulayev, who didn’t lose during the last two years, defeated all his rivals at the Olympics. In all duels the "Russian tank" gave in only one point, obtaining 28.
The first battle with the Hungarian Istvan Verebom prematurely ended with the score of 10: 0 in Sadulaev’s favour.
The next opponent Pedro Ceballos from Venezuela lost to Sadulaev with the score - 0: 5. In the semifinals, Abdulrashid gained victory over his compatriot acting for the Azerbaijani national team, the Olympic champion Sharip Sharipov with the score of 8: 1. In the last bout, Dagestani wrestler, left no chance to the Turkish wrestler Selim Yashar and won with the score of 5: 0.
