Five old buildings have been repaired and are now operating at full capacity as part of an investment project for the poultry meat processing by Kizlyar Uritsky Meat Processing Plant LLC. The enterprise has built an additional building for 25 thousand heads and is completing the construction of another one.

In general, there will be created 12 such modern poultry facilities as well as 25 jobs. A slaughterhouse has been launched to carry out primary processing on site and accept products from local farms.

According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture, last year the republic of Dagestan produced 50 thousand tons of poultry meat in slaughter weight. The region's demand for poultry is currently satisfied by 40% only.
