The project is initiated by a private company "Sad". The facility is being built as part of a large-scale investment project in the vicinity of the village of Dzhepel in Magaramkent municipal district. The investor had already planted 200 hectares of intensive and super-intensive orchards. A water reservoir with the area of more than 2 hectares had also been built.

The first stage of fruit storage implies commissioning of the facility with storage capacity of 5 thousand tons. At the second stage its capacity will be brought up to 10 thousand tons. It will be equipped with modern refrigeration system with dynamic controlled atmosphere technology.

Dagestan authorities allocated a territory of about 4 hectares for the project.
