In his Telegram channel, Andrey Yatskin, the first deputy Chairman of the Federation Council, noted that the successful implementation of this project could potentially lead to its expansion into other regions. This is particularly significant given that Dagestan stands out as the largest wool producer in the North Caucasian region.

It is worth noting that the initiative for producing school uniforms made from wool originated from Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov (Dagestani Prime Minister), who proposed developing several options for uniforms that would comply with school standards while taking into account parental preferences. Abdulmuslimov believes that wool-based uniforms will offer greater durability and comfort compared to synthetic alternatives.

Dagestan annually produces over 14.5 thousand tons of wool, accounting for 32% of Russia's total output. Since October 2024, efforts have been underway to train local sewing professionals, and in November, local companies showcased their products at the specialized exhibition in Makhachkala.
