In Dagestan, the number of passengers of electric trains has increased by 5.1%, the North Caucasian Railway JSC reports. During the first seven months of 2024, 916,000 people were transported by rail in the republic using suburban services. For example, in Stavropol Krai, this figure makes more than 3 million, while in Kabardino-Balkaria it is only 16,000. Krasnodar Krai turns to be the leader in suburban transportation on the NCR during the first seven months of 2024. In January and July, 12.3 million people used suburban trains for travel in Kuban region.
