This has been announced by Rustam Kerimov, the Acting Director General of Makhachkala Commercial Sea Port, JSC. The top manager specified that the port is one of the key hubs of the Russian segment of the international transport corridor "North - South".  

“To accelerate cargo transshipment, we need to purchase two more portal cranes. The issue has been preliminarily worked out. We are preparing a financial model and selecting sources of financing” – Kerimov said.
