Three manufacturers from Nizhny Novgorod plan to commence the supply of composite, geosynthetic and concrete products to Dagestan, a decision reached during a business mission led by Maxim Cherkasov, Head of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Ministry of Industry. The three companies, which were part of a business mission from Nizhny Novgorod region to the Republic of Dagestan, signed a memorandum of understanding on the organization of cooperation.

A total of approximately 130 business meetings took place among the companies from Nizhny Novgorod and the local entrepreneurs during this business mission. This mission was organized by the My Business regional Centre with support of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of Nizhny Novgorod Region, as part of the federal Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship project within the national Efficient and Competitive Economy project.

The delegation of Nizhny Novgorod region paid a visit to Dagdiesel JSC, as well as the production facilities situated within the Kaspiysk Advanced Socio-Economic Development Zone which include LLC «Caspian Glass Fiber Plant» (specializing in glass industry products), «Ekotar» LLC (engaged in corrugated cardboard production), «Dagpolymer» LLC (focusing on plastic products), and «Rovna» LLC (excelling in the production of refractory bricks, blocks and tiles).

Fourteen companies participated in the mission, including Rusgeosint, which specializes in geosynthetics, Regional Industrial Company and Lobas-NN, producing moulds for concrete products. The mission also saw a cooperation agreement signed between My Business Centers of the Nizhny Novgorod region and Dagestan.
