A tender for the second phase of work on the renovation of Talovskaya irrigation system in Kizlyarsky and Tarumovsky municipal districts has been announced in Dagestan. The initial cost of the project is estimated at RUB 1.95 billion.

The state customer for this project is the Federal Budgetary Agency for Land Reclamation Management and Agricultural Water Supply of the Republic of Dagestan. The bidding process will remain open until April 25th.

Under the terms of agreement, the contractor will be tasked with renovating a section of the main Talovka canal, as well as ten inter-farm canals and associated structures. Additionally, it will be responsible for clearing canals and performing related work. The total length of the canals to be renovated amounts to 264 kilometers. The project is scheduled for completion and commissioning in 2030.
