Makhachkala, July 2, 2014. Yesterday, Daghestan minister for trade, investment and entrepreneurship Yussup Umavov met with investors from Japan, who intend to build a medical center in Daghestan, as well as to implement a series of projects in social and other spheres.
The representatives of “Support of Russia” organization in Fukuoka Prefecture Mr. Shibata and Mr. Kasuya paid a working visit to Daghestan, a source in the press service of Daghestani Head and government’s administration informed the RIA "Daghestan".
The guests negotiated on their organization and the activities in the Russian Federation. The main goal is to become a bridge between the Japanese and Russian business markets. However, the Japanese party works out concrete plans for mutual work in Daghestan. In particular, Japanese executives plan to build a medical center, as well as to implement a number of other projects.
Daghestan minister of trade, investment and business Yussup Umavov introduced some of the republican investment projects and their curators from part of ministers and vice-premiers of the republican Government.
“Daghestan has a complete legal system for investment activity and entrepreneurship. The initiators of priority investment projects are supported by the state in the form of tax incentives, tax credits, state guarantees for loans taken by initiators, benefits for renting houses etc." - Umavov said.
It should be noted that the meeting was also attended by Daghestan deputy minister of trade investment and enterprise Maksood Musayev, the director general of "Daghestanenergo" OJSC Magomed Aliyev and other officials.
The parties agreed to discuss specific plans and timelines for its implementation within the next meeting. After the official sitting, the Japanese investors got fully familiarized with the investment platform in Tube village, the products of Caspian float glass plant and the plant for the production of ceramic tiles "Marabi".
