This has been announced by the Head of Dagestan Sergei Melikov at a meeting on socio-economic development of the republic with participation of Maxim Reshetnikov, the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. It should be noted that the federal minister is currently on a working trip to the region.

Today, the republic is in step with other regions of the country. The regional economy has successfully adjusted to the new circumstances. All authorities are committed to supporting the real sector of the economy, fostering entrepreneurship and providing social guarantees for the residents. Additionally, we extend assistance to those involved in the special military operation and their families.

Our enterprises, businesspeople and concerned citizens continue to equip our military personnel with all necessary resources, including technical equipment and humanitarian supplies. We also provide aid to veterans of the SMO and support the participants’ families, the head of the republic said.

Overall, the region's budget was executed at 97.6% last year, which allowed Dagestan to rank 14th among all subjects of the Russian Federation in terms of this indicator.
