By 2030, more than 500 agro-technology classes will be created in Dagestan schools. This will ensure an influx of qualified personnel into the regional agro-industrial complex.

To date, Dagestan has 52 agritechnology classes where students study key areas of agricultural activity such as animal husbandry, horticulture, veterinary medicine and product processing. In the coming years, this network will expand significantly, with a further 475 classes planned, including 28 this year.
A systematic approach to the training of human resources, starting from school age, is essential for the development of the agro-industrial complex. The primary goal is not only to impart knowledge to young people, but also to foster a passion for agriculture and equip them with the skills necessary to work successfully in the field.

In order to ensure the successful implementation of this project, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Dagestan has submitted an application to the federal center for support, seeking participation in the «Personnel for Agro-Industrial Complex» program. The allocation of federal funds will make it possible to equip new agricultural classes with state-of-the-art equipment, as well as to modernize the educational and material resources of specialized secondary educational institutions engaged in the training of agricultural specialists.
