The total number of unemployed citizens in the regions of the Northern Caucasus amounted to 113.3 thousand people as of the end of five months of 2023. Compared to the five months of 2022, this figure decreased by more than 17%.

Chechnya is in first place in the number of officially unemployed - about 52 thousand people, Ingushetia occupies the second place with 26.5 thousand unemployed. Dagestan with 16 thousand unemployed ranks third, the North Caucasian Department of Statistics reports.
