Dagestan branch of the Rosselkhozcentre (Federal State Budgetary Institution “Russian Agricultural Centre”) will assist Azerbaijani investors in the ongoing investment project to plant a new orchard in Magaramkentski municipal district (southern Dagestan).

In this regard, the organization has entered into an agreement with S.R. Plast, an investor seeking to pursue projects in the realm of horticulture. The project envisages the construction of a seedling nursery in the republic and cultivation of orchards covering 53 hectares encompassing a diverse range of varieties such as alcha, nectarines, cherries, peaches, and olives.

As to Zhanna Kazanbiyeva, the head of the regional office of Rosselkhozcentre, the branch will provide certification services for the cherries grown in the nursery, ensuring their quality and compliance with relevant standards.
