Makhachkala, February 18, 2014. Daghestani minister of economy and regional development Rayudin Yussufov is studying French practices of city development, the press service of Ministry told RIA "Daghestan".
According to the source, within his authority, Minister Yussufov is participating in the seminar "Practical aspects of forming urban agglomeration. The French practices" taking place in Paris these days.
The program has been developed in collaboration with the Russian Ministry of Regional Development and the France’s Mayors’ Association. During the visit, they will discuss issues of the city urbanization state policy, legal, economic and managerial aspects of developing urban agglomerations, and many other issues.
"This seminar is aimed at studying the best practices of forming urban agglomerations, legal and regulatory framework of the inter-municipal cooperation, and the work of organizations and agencies created and controlled by the agglomeration," - the source concluded.
