From December 15, four additional pairs of electric trains will begin operating on Makhachkala–Derbent route in Dagestan, along with three additional suburban services on Khasavyurt–Makhachkala–Derbent line. This expansion will boost the number of electric trains on the suburban railway network in the republic to 17 pairs, bringing the total number of daily trains on the Suburban Commuter Railway to 241 (an increase of three pairs compared to the previous year).
