Rosseti Northern Caucasus intends to invest over RUB 3 billion in modernization of the power grid in Dagestan in 2025. This investment aims to enhance the stability of electricity supply in the region.

As part of this initiative, it is planned to refurbish seven power centers with capacity exceeding 400 megavolt-ampere (MVA) at substations. The estimated cost of these upgrades is close to RUB 2 billion. Furthermore, six transmission lines spanning over 80 kilometers in length are projected to be reconstructed, with voltage ranging from 35 kilovolts to 110 kilovolts. The anticipated expenditure for this endeavor exceeds RUB 1.3 billion.

Dagestan stands out as one of the top three regions in the Northern Caucasus in terms of improving the reliability and resilience of its power grid infrastructure.
