From 2025 to 2027, the Republic of Dagestan intends to allocate a substantial sum of RUB 500 million to support initiatives, create camping sites, purchase tourist equipment and improve the overall quality of its territories.

This information was provided by the regional Ministry of Tourism. The ministry official further emphasized that in 2024 there was a remarkable increase of 27.5% in the number of accommodations, rising from 611 units to an impressive 779.

Since 2022, a total of 96 projects with an estimated value exceeding RUB 1 billion have been successfully supported within the framework of the nationwide "Tourism" project, resulting in the attraction of an additional RUB 1.5 billion of extra-budgetary funds.
