Yussuf Umavov participates in meeting of Russian-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation
Moscow, April 28, 2015. Dagestan minister of industry, trade and investment Yussuf Umavov participated in the meeting of the 12th Russian-Turkish Working Group on Industry Affairs of the Russian-Turkish Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, the press service of the ministry told RIA Dagestan.
Russia plans to develop cooperation with Turkey in priority industries like metallurgy, construction of power plants using gas turbine equipment, production of automobiles and auto components, textile industry, footwear and leather industry, and wood processing.
The Turkish side expressed their willingness to collaborate in aviation technology, shipbuilding and satellite production. The parties also discussed development of industrial parks in Russia and industrial zones in Turkey.
Summing up the meeting, the two sides decided to support the project of establishing a textile production on the premises of the Tube Industrial Park. The Russian Ministry of Industry is recommended to take charge of the project.
