The well-known Turkmen football coach, Kurban Berdyev, has been awarded the honorary title of "Honored Coach of the Republic of Dagestan", the press service of Dynamo Makhachkala Football Club reports.

It should be noted that Berdyev previously served as the head coach of Dynamo Makhachkala club and currently holds the position of an advisor to the President. At the end of the previous season, Dynamo Makhachkala obtained a place in the Russian Premier League.

Earlier reports indicated that Kurban Berdiyeu intended to become the head coach of Azerbaijani football club Turan. It is expected that the coach will travel to Baku fr om Dagestan on June 21st, wh ere he will be expected to sign a two-year contract. As to the vice-president of Turan, Ali Balakishiyev, Berdiyeu planned to hold a meeting with all team members on June 24th.
