Kamila Khamidova, daughter of a serviceman of Makhachkala unit of the National Guard of Russia won the Grand Prix of the VIII Festival of Children's Patriotic Songs of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation.

The solemn awarding ceremony took place on December 23 in Moscow. The head of the Department for interaction with the media and civil society institutions of the National Guard of Russia, Major General Sergei Shevchuk and guests of honor handed over the diplomas of winners and gift certificates from the charity fund "Zabota" to the young talented performers on behalf of director of the National Guard, the Army General Victor Zolotov.

As to S. Shevchuk the National Guard Children's Patriotic Song Festival had become a large-scale musical and patriotic project. The Major General thanked the parents of the young talents, congratulated them on the coming New Year and wished inspiration, new ideas, success and creative mood.
