Dagestan to host film marathon "We won together"

"We Won Together" film marathon, organized by the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation will be held in the historical park "Russia My History" in Makhachkala on June 17-18.

All screenings are free. The program includes award-winning films of the XVIII Vladimir Menshov International Film Festival "Won Together":

"Blockade Recipe Book" - a modern man's view of the surrounding reality through the eyes of the residents of besieged Leningrad. The film will be presented by its director Fyodor Babenko.

"Avdeyev. Open Space" directed by Maxim Kuznetsov. The movie will be presented by Hero of Russia, pilot-cosmonaut Sergey Avdeyev. The hero of the film will tell about his experience on the International Space Station.

The Belarusian film "For our "Victory". From dream to legend", directed by Ekaterina Sharomet, will be presented by online producer Vladimir Bokun.

"Pyatnashka: Wild Division of Donbass", directed by Marina Kim, is a film about the history of the fighters of "Pyatnashka", who have been defending the territory of Donbass since 2014. The director will present the film.

"Eagle Rises to the Sky", directed by Valery Lovikov, is about the Hero of the Soviet Union, Lieutenant General of Aviation, Alexei Blagoveschensky.

The program of the film festival will also feature a masterclass by Professor Vitaly Potemkin from the St. Petersburg University of Film and Television.
